About this book

This second one of a two volume set will be of interest to medical microbiologists, practitioners, medical students and other health care providers who are engaged in management and treatment of pediatric viral infections. New evidence on topics related to better clinical management of patients is presented. The book may double as a clinical guide to care with algorithms, Practice Points and photographs and therefore aid the clinical decision making in management of sick children.

Reviews

“This hardback book is relevant to all health-care professionals who look after unwell children. … The text is well laid out and its headings make sections interesting and easy to read. Illustrations include useful diagrams on sinus development, electrocardiograms and photographs of exanthems. … The book would be a welcome addition for clinicians wishing to be knowledgeable about viral infections in children while noting the provisos detailed above.” (Helen Goodyear, British Journal of Hospital Medicine, Vol. 79 (4), April,2018)
