This book is a comprehensive introduction of the reader into the simulation and modelling techniques and their application in the management of organisations. The book is rooted in the thorough understanding of systems theory applied to organisations and focuses on how this theory can apply to econometric models used in the management of organisations. About the authors
Ioan Constantin Dima is Professor and Manager of the Management – Marketing Department at the “Valahia” University of Targoviste, Romania, scientific coordinator for PhD Programme in the field of Management at the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania and visiting Professor at Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland. He is a member of international scientific and professional societies – the National Consortium of Economic Business schools, the Royal Economic Society – and Deputy Chief Editor and a member of the scientific board of prestigious international journals – Topclass Journal of Business Management, Journal of Reviews on Global Economics, Polish Journal of Management Studies and the Scientific Journal “Entrepreneurship”. As author and co-author, Dima has published 54 books with prestigious publishers in the USA, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, 280 articles published in prestigious international journals and presented 100 communications in international scientific conferences that were published in ISI proceedings.
Mariana Man is Professor and Manager of the Centre of Economic and Social Researches for Regional Development at the University of Petrosani, Romania, scientific coordinator for PhD Programme in the field of Accounting at the University of Craiova, Romania and auditor for higher education within ARACIS Romania. She is the manager of the Annals of the University of Petrosani, the Economica series, member of national and international scientific and professional societies and member of the scientific board of prestigious national and international scientific journals. As author and co-author, Man has published 14 books with prestigious publishers in the USA, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, 100 articles published in prestigious international journals and presented 50 communications in international scientific conferences that were published in ISI proceedings.
