About the editors
Mr Bob Yang has been researching novel therapies in the treatment of recurrent Urinary Tract Infections over the last 5 years. His research has been accepted for presentation in 11 leading international urological conferences and has been awarded 3 first place prizes for academic excellence and best research (from the Association of Surgeons in Training, British Association of Urology Surgeons, Joe Smith Memorial Prize Oxford Nuffield Science).He graduated with First Class Honors and was awarded five distinctions for outstanding examination performance in surgery, medicine, pharmacology, psychiatry and clinical practice. He was also awarded the Swinford Evans and the Evelyn de Rothchild Award; two prestigious university prizes for academic excellence.
Mr Steve Foley is a recognised global leading expert in female urology and recurrent UTIs. He has been invited to lecture in Australia, Argentina, USA and holds several lecturing posts in Europe on the topics of incontinence, painful bladder conditions and recurrent urinary tract infections. Over the past 5 years Mr Foley has been one of the pioneers of the surgical management of male incontinence (particularly the 'Male Sling' and bulking agents). He is now one of the most experienced Surgeons in the UK with this type of operation, and regularly trains other Surgeons how to perform it. He has held numerous teaching sessions in Berkshire on surgical techniques, attracting many overseas surgeons and is currently involved in several international research studies in the fields of incontinence and urinary tract infections.
