The world found itself in an unprecedented period of change when Julius Springer founded his bookstore and publishing house in Berlin on May 10, 1842, laying the foundation for today’s company.
His goal was to share the latest findings from the natural sciences and humanities with the world. True to its roots, after 175 dynamic years the name Springer stands for a globally active publisher dedicated to the advancement of science, putting its authors and editors at the heart of the company’s publishing activities.
To acknowledge the long publishing tradition, we want to share our Springer book highlights with you. Based on personal recommendations of Springer Nature employees, we will share one book per day with you.
