About the editors

Prof. Lakhmi C. Jain is with the Faculty of Education, Science, Technology & Mathematics at the University of Canberra, Australia and University of South Australia, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia. Professor Jain founded the KES International, a professional community for providing the opportunities for publications, knowledge exchange, cooperation and teaming. Involving around 5000 researchers drawn from universities and companies world-wide, KES facilitates international cooperation and generate synergy in teaching and research. KES regularly provides networking opportunities for professional community through one of the largest conferences of its kind in the area of KES. His interests focus on the artificial intelligence paradigms and their applications in complex systems, security, e-education, e-healthcare, unmanned air vehicles and intelligent agents.

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is presently serving as Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, SOA University, Bhubaneswar, India. He holds Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from Jadavpur University, India. He has published more than 80 research papers and articles in international journals and magazines of repute. He has supervised 10 research scholars for their PhDs. He has completed various funded projects as Principal Investigator from various funding agencies of India. He is Editor-in-Chief of two international journals, namely International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics, published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and also Series Editor of Springer Book Series on Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology [MOST].

Dr. Nikhil Ichalkaranje is currently serving as Senior ICT Strategist, Office of the Chief Information Officer [CIO], Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Government of South Australia. He holds Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Systems Engineering from University of South Australia (March 2006). He served in various capacities such as Assistant Director, Cyber Security Programs & Security Strategy, Senior Technology Advisor, Department of Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy (DBCDE), Government of Australia. He has produced useful and meaningful research outcomes from diverse methodologies, perspectives and concepts to solve real life problems and support policy makers in forming evidence-based policy. He has a strong academic record of research publications in the computer science and Telecommunication industry including journals, conference papers and edited international books from renowned publishers.
