Anhand der Fallbeispiele Indien, Brasilien und Südafrika untersucht
Dana de la Fontaine die entwicklungspolitische Rolle sogenannter
Emerging Donors seit den 1990er Jahren. Die Autorin beantwortet
die Frage, inwiefern die Ausweitung der Süd-Süd-Geberaktivitäten
auf das Agieren bestimmter institutioneller Akteure auf nationaler
Ebene in diesen Ländern zurückgeführt werden kann. Gleichzeitig
wird danach gefragt, aufgrund welcher Interessenslagen sich diese
Akteure für eine Ausweitung der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit eingesetzt haben. Aus theoretischer Sicht wird schließlich analysiert, ob diese Prozesse als ein außenpolitischer Wandel zu verstehen sind.
