About the authors

Daniel R. A. Schallmo is an economist, management consultant, lecturer, and author. He is a professor at the Ulm University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and is Director of the private institute for Business Model Innovation. His research focuses on the digital transformation of business models and the development, and application of methods to innovate business models, mainly in business-to-business markets.

Christopher A. Williams is a learning scientist, consultant, author, and former professional basketball player. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in the field of learning sciences at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (Germany). He holds a B.A. in Communication, a MBA in General Management and a M.A. in Learning, Technology and Education from the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on learning and instruction, human resources management, and corporate communication.
