Reviews

From the book reviews:

“This is an excellent review and photo illustration on how to use implantable devices for spinal derived pain. … Students, residents, and fellows could benefit from this publication. I recommend this book for pain researchers, neurosurgeons, and neurologists.” (Joseph J. Grenier, Amazon.com, September, 2014)

“This book is edited and half written by a widely published Anesthesiologist and has contributions from eleven North American and one European specialist implanters, half of whom are anesthesiologists and half neurosurgeons. … covered a lot of ground within the field of implantable therapies. … For the practitioner new to the field of implantable therapies this book shows the scope of this particular branch of pain medicine. It is full of good advice on techniques and how to avoid complications.” (British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, June, 2011)

“This illustrated manual of implantable therapies for pain combines text and images to provide a quick review of each pain procedure. The purpose is to provide a handy quick reference for implantable pain therapies. … All practicing pain physicians, whether their background is in anesthesia or neurosurgery, will find it very useful. … The book is beautifully written and well illustrated with x-ray images and pictures. … this book is must read for every pain fellow and a very useful one for every pain physician.” (Tariq M.
