The work is structured in two different parts: the first one is focused on cooperative project mainly on statistical analysis of large clinical and administrative databases; the second one faces the development of innovative diagnostic techniques, with specific reference to genetic and proteomic, and the evolution of new imaging techniques for the early identification of patients at major risk of thrombotic, arrhythmic complications and at risk of poor revascularization.

Reviews

From the reviews:

“This book discusses new diagnostic, therapeutic, and organizational strategies for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. … The intended audience includes cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, medical students, and students in public health and epidemiology. … This excellent book is a valuable resource for gaining a basic understanding of organizational strategies in ACS as well as future advances in the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to ACS.” (Vedang J. Bhavsar, Doody’s Book Reviews, October, 2013)
