The Archives of Gynecology and Obstetrics was founded in 1870 as “Archiv für Gynaekologie” and has a long and outstanding tradition. Since 1922 the journal has been the Organ of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe and publishes the abstracts and proceedings of their bi-annual meetings.

from all subspecialties in Gynecology and Obstetrics. All papers are peer-reviewed and published as quickly as possible. Case reports can be submitted, but will only be accepted if they are of broad interest to the community and include a systematic review of the literature if possible.
