Anatomical Science International 

Examines morphological sciences in animals and humans
The official English journal of the Japanese Association of Anatomists, Anatomical Science International (formerly titled Kaibogaku Zasshi) publishes original research articles dealing with morphological sciences in animals and humans.
Coverage in the journal includes molecular, cellular, histological and gross anatomical studies on normal and experimental animals and humans, as well as functional morphological, biochemical, physiological and behavioral studies that include morphological analysis. Anatomical Science International features papers, reports, case reports, and reviews.

About the JAA

The Japanese Association of Anatomists is an association of researchers, scholars, and professionals dedicated to the promotion and development of anatomical science.
The society was founded in 1928, making it one of the oldest academic societies in medicine in Japan.
The society is active through meetings, publications, and committees for education, science, and policy making. Its aim is to promote research in the anatomical sciences by encouraging communication among members and by contributing to the national and international scientific communities.
