Increasing Impact Fators of Science China Press' journals

Thomson Reuters has just released the 2010 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), showing an impressive improvement for the Science China Series and Chinese Science Bulletin. Of these eight journals published by Science China Press, seven received higher Impact Factors (IF), five exceeding 1: Science China-Life Sciences: 1.345, Science China-Earth Sciences: 1.271, Science China-Chemistry: 1.042, Chinese Science Bulletin: 1.087, and Science China-Physics, Mechanics & Astronomy: up to 1.195, maintaining a stable, positive trend from 1.04 in the 2009 JCR.
In addition, the IF rankings of the Science China Series and Chinese Science Bulletin have continued their steady rise in relevant categories, with six journals placed in the first 50% (Q2 zone) on the list of the same discipline. Chinese Science Bulletin placed at 31.5% (18/57), and Science China-Physics, Mechanics & Astronomy at 40% (32/80). Chinese Science Bulletin ranked 8th in Total Citation among the 57 journals of multidiscipline for 2010, showing its stature.
