The Society Journal: American Journal of Criminal Justice 

Published by Springer on behalf of the SCJA, the American Journal of Criminal Justice, is focused on a wide array of criminal justice topics and issues. Some of these concerns include items pertaining to the criminal justice process, the formal and informal interplay between system components, problems and solutions experienced by various segments, innovative practices, policy development and implementation, evaluative research, the players engaged in these enterprises, and a wide assortment of other related interests.

Journal of Quantitative Criminology focuses on research advances from such fields as statistics, sociology, geography, political science, economics, and engineering. This timely journal publishes papers that apply quantitative techniques of all levels of complexity to substantive, methodological, or evaluative concerns of interest to the criminological community. Features include original research, brief methodological critiques, and papers that explore new directions for studying a broad range of criminological topics.

The Southern Criminal Justice Association (SCJA) is a regional organization affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. SCJA is a professional association serving criminal justice educators, researchers, practitioners, and students committed to the ongoing development of criminal justice science and practice. Membership in SCJA facilitates professional development and interaction. The Southern Criminal Justice Association is governed by officers and a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The work of the organization is performed in committees and several opportunities to serve exist.
