The audience for the "Yearbook of Nanotechnology in Society" is the burgeoning number of scholars and students interested in the field. The close connections of the series and volume editors to the more general community in the social studies of science and technology (which includes such disciplinary areas as history, sociology, politics and ethics) assures that the audeince for the "Yearbook" will not be limited in attention to the domain of nanotechnology. The serial nature of the "Yearbook" should increase its interest to libraries and teachers.
