About this book series

The development, analysis, solution, and delivery of Operations Research/Management Science models has changed dramatically due to the phenomenal improvements in computer technology. At the same time, disciplines from computer science have benefitted from the advances achieved by operations researchers. The Operations Research/Computer Science Interfaces Series is devoted to the advances at the interfaces of Operations Research and Computer Science. Published volumes may study topics at this interface from the computer science and/or operations research perspective.

The series features three types of books at the Operations Research/Computer Science (OR/CS) interfaces:

Monographs written by recognized authorities.

Handbooks on a specific topic.

Edited volumes prepared by experts in specific areas serving as guest editors. These volumes are collections of papers selected after a rigorous refereeing process, with some volumes based upon papers presented at major professional conferences. These are not proceedings volumes, but they may represent a group of papers that were presented at a meeting and then selected for publication through a comprehensive review process.

Because of the depth and breadth of both operations research and computer science topics, the Operations Research/Computer Science Interfaces Series publishes volumes on a wide range of topics. Please browse the titles to appreciate this breadth of coverage. You are invited to submit a proposal for developing a book project in this series.
