​Steven T. Rosen, MD, is provost and chief scientific officer for City of Hope, Duarte, CA, USA and a member of City of Hope's Executive Team. He is director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center and holds the Irell & Manella Cancer Center Director's Distinguished Chair. He is also director of the Beckman Research Institute (BRI) and the Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences. Prior to joining City of Hope, Dr. Rosen was the Genevieve Teuton Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, and he served for 24 years as director of Northwestern's Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Rosen has published more than 400 original reports, editorials, books, and book chapters. He has received funding from and acted as an advisor to various organizations in the field of cancer research and management. He sits on the external advisory boards of more than a dozen NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers. Dr. Rosen is a recipient of the Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award from Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Man of Distinction Award from the Israel Cancer Research Fund.
