Advances in Complex Analysis and Its Applications

Series Ed.: Yang, Chung-Chun

Discontinued Series
Although this series no longer publishes new content, the published titles listed below may be still available on-line (e. g. via the Springer Book Archives) and in print.
The intent of the series is to publish and disseminate in a timely fashion new ideas, novel techniques, and developments in complex analysis and its applications for the benefit of specialists as well as a broader audience of researchers.
For the past two centuries complex analysis has played a pivotal role not only in the sciences and engineering but also in the development of several areas of pure and applied mathematics: number theory, algebra, the theory of ordinary and partial differential equations, differential geometry, numerical analysis etc.
It is this pervasive nature of complex analysis that underscores its importance and defines the scope of the series. Therefore, the goal of the series is to publish high quality monographs on topics which include, but are not limited to, geometric function theory, complex dynamics, several complex variables and analytic spaces, the theory of differential equations in complex domains, analysis on manifolds, complex geometry, generalized function theory, potential theory, harmonic analysis, approximation theory and expansions, special functions and mathematical physics.
Occasionally, the editors will invite distinguished complex analysts to contribute self-contained surveys or to have their non-English monographs or surveys translated into English. Also the editors will consider the publication of refereed conference proceedings on topics closely related to complex analysis and its applications.
