About this book series

The subseries Advances in Partial Differential Equations is intended to report on recent developments in all areas of partial differential equations, in particular, on those belonging to the tradition defined by the series Operator Theory: Advances and Applications and new areas. The Advances volumes will consist primarily of expository research articles, presenting both an overview of the state of a field and new results, in such areas as microlocal analysis and its applications to asymptotic phenomena, mathematical physics, spectral theory, as well as symplectic geometry, the analysis of singularities of solutions, and geometric analysis. Selected articles of this kind may also appear as a separate monographic volume. A certain number of short communications will also be published.
