About the Editor

Mahendra Pal Singh is Professor Emeritus, University of Delhi and currently the Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana as well as Chair Professor of Comparative Law at National Law University Delhi. He has also served as Chairperson of Delhi Judicial Academy and as Vice Chancellor of National University of Judicial Sciences, Kolkata besides having been a fellow and visiting professor and fellow at several institutions and universities abroad and in India. His publications include well over one hundred papers in national and international legal journals and several books. He is also the founding editor of the NUJS Law Review and The Indian Yearbook of Comparative Law as well as collaborating in national and international research projects in the arena of comparative public law and directing a project on The Nature of the Indian Legal System.
