About the Editor

​Professor LOW Sui Pheng holds DSc (Birmingham) and PhD (UCL) degrees and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB). He is presently Professor in the Department of Building at the National University of Singapore. He has previously served as Vice‐Dean of School and for a while, Head of Department. Professor Low has authored 400+ papers and 20+ books/monographs and is a winner of numerous teaching excellence, best paper and outstanding reviewer awards; more notably the Sir Christopher Cox Memorial Award (New College, Oxford University) and the Donald S. Barrie Award for research (US Project Management Institute). He serves in the Editorial Advisory Boards of many international refereed journals. He has graduated more than 20+ PhD students and has also served as external examiner for more than 45+ PhD candidates from institutions overseas. He has frequently been invited as keynote/invited speaker at international conferences (Kyoto, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Perth, Shanghai, Seoul, etc.). Professor Low has served and/or serving in the Valuation Review Board (Ministry of Finance, Singapore), Singapore Polytechnic School Advisory Committee, BCA Academy Advisory Panel, and as program external examiners for many local and overseas institutions. He was formerly the Singapore Representative of the CIOB and a Coordinator for the CIB Task Group 82 (Marketing in Construction) for the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction, The Netherlands. He was presented with the Alumni Service Excellence Award for his outstanding service contributions to Singapore Polytechnic and Honorary Fellowship of the Singapore Institute of Engineering Technologists. He has also consulted widely both in Singapore and overseas in areas relating to quality, productivity and facilities management.

He is presently serving as the Director of the Centre for Project Management and Construction Law, Department of Building at the National University of Singapore.
