About the Editor

Rhiannon Braund is Professor at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
She is a practicing academic pharmacist with a background in biochemistry. Her current role is within the New Zealand Pharmacovigilance Centre, and her interest is in the safe and optimal use of medications.

Her research spans all areas of practice, but is particularly focussed on access, equity and adherence to medications, and the role that pharmacists have as medication experts.

Rhiannon has received several significant awards for her teaching in Pharmacy (including the Prime Ministers award), and her contribution to Pharmacy within New Zealand has been recognised with a Fellowship of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand. 

Her international collaborations in the practice and research space provide a truly global perspective to medication use and safety.

Acknowledgement

Although no longer series editor, Carolyn Coulter was instrumental in developing this book series.
Her dedication to enhancing clinical practice and support for emerging pharmacists is inspirational.

Dr Carolyn Coulter is the Pharmacy Manager at Timaru Hospital Pharmacy, Timaru, New Zealand. She holds a BSc(Hons) and PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry, as well as a BPharm. Previously she worked as the Renal and Cardiology Pharmacist at a tertiary hospital as well as having been a Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy, University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand.
