About the Editor

Terrell Carver is a Professor of Political Theory at the University of Bristol, UK. He has published extensively on Marx, Engels and Marxism since 1975, including translations, commentaries and critical studies for major academic publishers and university presses. He is appointed to the Redaktionskommission of the Marx-Engels Gesamtausgabe headquartered at the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften. He has delivered lectures and papers all over the world, including India, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Egypt, South Africa, Russia and numerous European countries. He is co-general editor of the 'Globalizations' book series and of 'Routledge Innovators in Political Theory'. Currently he is co-editor of the Journal Contemporary Political Theory, and co-editor of the forthcoming Companion to the Communist Manifesto.

Marcello Musto teaches Sociological Theory at York University
(Toronto, Canada). The primary focus of his research has been Karl Marx’s thought and varieties of Marxisms.  His books, articles and chapters (more than 100) have been published worldwide in eighteen languages. Among his edited and co-authored volumes, reprinted in 25 editions and translated into seven languages, there are: Karl Marx’s ‘Grundrisse’: Foundations of the Critique of Political Economy 150 Years Later (2008); Marx for Today (2012); and Workers Unite! The International 150 Years Later (2014). His monograph Ripensare Marx e i marxismi. Studi e saggi [Rethinking Marx and Marxisms: Studies and Essays] (Carocci 2011) has been translated into or is forthcoming in Korean, English and Portuguese. He is a member of the editorial boards of six journals and has delivered lectures and papers in more than 40 universities in Europe, North and South America, and Asia. www.marcellomusto.org
