About the Editor

Dr Marzieh Sadeghpour holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Monash University, Australia. Her expertise benefits from multidisciplinary training in, and extensive research on, Cultural Linguistics; World Englishes; and English Language pedagogy. She has had research and teaching positions at Monash University. Currently, she is working on a large investigative project that will address Cultural Linguistics and Pragmatics (Mouton, 2023) in a handbook capacity. She is the author of “Englishes in English language teaching" (Routledge, 2019), co-editor of “Cultural Linguistics and World Englishes" (Springer, 2020), and has also published in leading international journals. She is on the editorial board of International Journal of Persian Literature (Penn State and Johns Hopkins) and is a member of the multilingual advisory board of Target Multilingual (John Benjamins).
