About the Editor

Professor Maginn received his BS in chemical engineering from Iowa State University and his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been on the Notre Dame faculty since 1995 and currently serves as Chair of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and is the recipient of Early Career Awards from the National Science Foundation, the American Society for Engineering Education and the Computational Molecular Science and Engineering Forum of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Physical Chemistry and is on the Editorial Board of Fluid Phase Equilibria. He also serves as a trustee for the CAChE Corporation.
