About the Editor
International Association for Knowledge Management (IAKM) is a network of Knowledge Management researchers who share a vision of the central role of knowledge and knowledge management in modern organizations and, at the same time, are aware of the necessity to strengthen the ‘roots’ of this field and to boost the development of Knowledge Management as a scientific discipline.The association aims to be a reference point for all people who, with various roles, work professionally in the field of Knowledge Management and are interested to contribute to its development as a scientific discipline.
The aims of IAKM are:
- Producing and diffusing awareness and knowledge of Knowledge Management
- Defining Knowledge Management and giving recognition to Knowledge Management as a field of study
- Helping to clarify and establish the grounds of Knowledge Management as a discipline Involving individuals, groups, organizations, companies
- Providing reference and point of attraction especially to young researchers or professionals
- Favoring education of people doing research in Knowledge Management or working as professionals
- Promoting collaboration and effective networking among researchers and with professionals
- Facilitating initiatives of joint research projects and publication of research results
