About the Editor

Associate Professor Aaron Koh works in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Education. He previously taught at Monash University, the Hong Kong Institute of Education and National Institute of Education, Singapore. He does inter- and trans- disciplinary research in the areas of Global Studies in Education and Cultural Studies in Education. He has published two co-edited books, Elite Schools: Multiple Geographies of Privilege (Routledge, 2016) and Education in the Global City: The Manufacturing of Education in Singapore (Routledge, 2016).

Professor Victoria Carrington is Dean and Head of School at University of Tasmania. Before moving back to Australia, she held a Chair in Education in the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia. Prior to joining UEA, she held a Research SA Chair at the University of South Australia and has held posts at the University of Plymouth, the University of Queensland and the University of Tasmania. Victoria writes extensively in the fields of sociology of literacy and education and has a particular interest in the impact of new digital media on literacy practices.
