The focus of the journal "magazine of european medical oncology ? memo" is to offer a professional review on current research and development in the field of hematology and oncology relevant for daily practice. Therefore, memo includes editorials and comments, peer-reviewed original reports, short reviews, case reports and controversies, articles explaining the biology of neoplasia and congress reports including qualified comments. As a European journal memo aims at highlighting the local peculiarities of various regions and at being a forum for the presentation of ongoing clinical and basic research.

memo is the Official Journal of the Central European Cooperative Oncology Group (CECOG).
The transfer of the copyright to Springer, respectively to the owner if other than Springer, becomes effective if and when the article is accepted for publication. The copyright transfer covers the exclusive right (for US government employees to the extent transferable) to reproduce and distribute the article including reprints, translations, photographic reproductions, microform, electronic form (offline and online) or any other reproductions of similar nature as well as the translation rights.
The author warrants and represents that the author who has signed the agreement below has full authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of all the co-authors who have each given their consent for the contribution to be published and that the contribution is original.
An author may self-archive an author-created version of his/her article on his/her own website. He/she may also deposit this version on his/her institution's and funder's (funder designated) repository, including his/her final version, provided it is not made publicly available until after 12 months of official publication. After the agreement has been signed by the corresponding author, changes of the authors or the authors? order listed will not be accepted by Springer.
