The Journal of Uncertainty Analysis and Applications (JUAA) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the SpringerOpen brand. It provides a platform for scholars to publish their works on uncertain systems with mathematical descriptions. The journal will provide a global forum for advancing uncertainty analysis with applications to help foster mathematical analysis, as well as the understanding, development, and practice of uncertainty theories for solving problems in economy, engineering, management and the social sciences. 

The main subjects include mathematical theory of uncertainty, optimization under uncertainty, and applications of uncertainty analysis in fields like the information sciences, engineering, management science and computer science; new concepts and questions are also welcome. Article types include regular papers and review article.
