A forum for communicating scientific advances and debate on all branches of theoretical and applied mechanics

  • A forum for communicating new results in all branches of theoretical and applied mechanics
  • Coverage includes mathematical modeling; optimization methods; structural optimization and more
  • Includes original research articles and short, prompt communications on recent findings

The Asia Pacific Journal on Computational Engineering (APJCEN)  is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the SpringerOpen brand. APJCEN is an international multidisciplinary publication devoted to disseminating research in and development of theoretical and applied mechanics. The journal will be a forum for researchers to present their original work and scholarly reviews of solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, material modeling, multi-physics and thermodynamics with significant computational components. The journal will adopt a multidisciplinary approach to link physical, experimental, and mechanics as applied to the development of and practice in computational engineering. The journal is committed to providing comprehensive and innovative techniques in computational engineering.

The majority of the articles published in the journal are full-length articles with detailed contents. Comments on published papers may be submitted in the form of discussion, which is subject to a rebuttal by the author.

APJCEN may accept also

·         Short and prompt communications about new results or new examples

·         New developments of software with broad utility

·         General state of the art papers useful for young researchers submitted by experienced scientists

The journal aims to provide the most complete and reliable sources of information on current developments in the field. The journal hopes to become an essential reading for scientists and researchers who wish to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field.

As APJCEN has a permanent secretarial and a large list of Editorial Board assistants, monitoring the review process will be organized as efficiently as possible.
