Science China Press (SCP) is a scientific journal publishing company of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Its mission is to present to the world the best achievements of Chinese and world scientists in various fields of natural sciences research.

SCP publishes the Science China Series and the Chinese Science Bulletin, a total of 16 high quality academic journals, 8 of which are in English. These journals are sponsored both by the CAS and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). All these journals are published both in print and online versions.

The Science China Series and Chinese Science Bulletin were launched in 1950 

Working closely with scientists, pursuing high quality and using the latest technologies, SCP has taken the leadership role in journal publication and achievements dissemination in China. Through its efficient network of peer-reviewing, editorial, marketing, production and distribution services, SCP has won the trust of Chinese scientists.

    Science China Life Sciences, an academic journal cosponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published by Science China Press, is committed to publishing high-quality, original results in both basic and applied research.

    Science China Life Sciences is published in both print and electronic forms. It is indexed by Science Citation Index.

    Categories of articles:

    Reviews summarize representative results and achievements in a particular topic or an area, comment on the current situation, and advise on the research directions. The author’s own opinion and related discussion is requested.

    Regular articles report on important original results in all areas of life sciences.

    Short communications present short reports in a timely manner of the latest important results.
