    Journal of Evolutionary Biochemistry and Physiology (Zhurnal evolyutsionnoi biokhimii i fiziologii) publishes experimental and theoretical papers, reviews, and information about the problems concerning evolution of the main forms of metabolism in connection with life origin, about comparative and ontogenetic physiology and biochemistry, biochemical evolution of animal world, as well as papers connected with the problem of evolution of functions, and on morphology, pharmacology, pathophysiology and ecological physiology.
