This handbook investigates the current state and future possibilities of African Philosophy, as a discipline and as a practice, vis-à-vis the challenge of African development and Africa’s place in a globalized, neoliberal capitalist economy. Adeshina Afolayan holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is the editor of Auteuring Nollywood (2014).
Toyin Falola is the Jacob and Frances Sanger Mossiker Chair Professor in the Humanities and a Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
