Neural Computing and Applications - Topical Collection on Big Data Analytics for Cyber-Physical System in Smart City 2023

2023 International Conference on Big Data Analytics for Cyber-Physical System in Smart City (BDCPS 2023) is dedicated to address the challenges in the areas of data and Cyber-Physical System, smart city, thereby presenting a consolidated view to the interested researchers in the related fields. The conference looks for significant contributions on smart city and Cyber-Physical System in theoretical and practical aspects. The main objective of BDCPS 2023 is to present the latest research and results of scientists related to Data Processing Techniques and Applications for Cyber-Physical Systems topics.

The purpose of this topic collection is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of innovative ideas and research results on all aspects of technology for Cyber-Physical System in Smart City. BDCPS conference was founded by Prof. Mohammed Atiquzzaman with University of Oklahoma, USA. Prof. Shunxiang Zhang is the PC chair of BDCPS 2023. The proceedings of BDCPS conferences are annually published by Springer in the book series named Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies. This topical collection includes selected papers (with no less than 50% new content of the journal version) from BDCPS 2023 as well as an open call. Topics of Interest for Submission Include, but are not Limited to:

Manuscript submission deadline: 31st March 2024

Peer Review Process

All the papers will go through peer review,  and will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. A thorough check will be completed, and the guest editor will check any significant similarity between the manuscript under consideration and any published paper or submitted manuscripts of which they are aware. In such case, the article will be directly rejected without proceeding further. Guest editors will make all reasonable effort to receive the reviewer’s comments and recommendation on time. The final decision will be taken by the EiC.

The submitted papers must provide original research that has not been published nor currently under review by other venues. Previously published conference papers should be clearly identified by the authors at the submission stage and an explanation should be provided about how such papers have been extended to be considered for this special issue (with at least 50% difference from the original works).

Submission Guidelines

Paper submissions for the collection should strictly follow the submission format and guidelines (https://www.springer.com/journal/521/submission-guidelines (this opens in a new tab)). Each manuscript should not exceed 16 pages in length (inclusive of figures and tables).

Manuscripts must be submitted to the journal online system at https://www.editorialmanager.com/ncaa/default.aspx (this opens in a new tab) or via the 'Submit manuscript' button on the journal homepage.
Authors should select “TC: Big Data Analytics for Cyber-Physical System in Smart City 2023” during the submission step ‘Additional Information’.
