Automotive Innovation - Feature Topic Guidelines

Automotive Innovation welcomes proposals from interested parties for Feature Topics on topics of relevance to the aims & scope of the journal. The following guidelines are intended to provide advice on the preparation of the proposal document and Feature Topic, as well as information on the process after the proposal has been accepted. It is important to note that papers in a Feature Topic should fulfil all the normal requirements of any individual Automotive Innovation papers and as such be of relevance to a wide international and multidisciplinary readership.

Feature Topic proposals should have a well-articulated unifying theme and reflect, at an international level, the best work in a particular research area, either a mature area or an important emerging area, in which future investigation may be boosted by the publication of a set of excellent papers. Topics should represent an area of high interest and relevance to electric vehicles and intelligent and connected vehicles. We recommend making speculative enquiries to the editors as to the suitability of the topic prior to preparing the full proposal. Finally, prospective guest editors should note that proposals must receive approval from the editors before papers are submitted.
