Cellular Oncology - New Article Type

The Editors-in-Chief would like to annouce a brand new article type called Research Highlights. They have also updated the critera for Brief Reports.

Research Highlights
Research Highlights discuss the main advances made by the paper as well as put the findings of the study into the proper context of the field. 1,000 words max including, references, figures and tables. Maximum of 1 figure/table, and a maximum of 10 references. Most highlights will be commissioned but unsolicited papers will be considered.

Brief Report
The length and the number of figures are limited to 1000 words (not including table or figure legends, or references), plus 1-2 figures and a maximum of 1 table. The Brief Report should be a concise report of research including the presentation of research that extends previously published research, the reporting of additional data and confirmatory results, and small-scale studies.  No section headings should be included in the manuscript (e.g., do not include section headings such as "Methods", "Results" or "Discussion").

Word limits are provided for guidance only. The Editors will consider submissions that exceed the recommended limit, subject to feedback received during peer review.
