Organisms Diversity & Evolution - Call for Special Issue Proposals
Organisms Diversity & Evolution publishes Special Issues (SIs) on the journal’s focal topics. Special Issue proposals must be submitted to the Editor in Chief (EiC), Prof. Andreas Wanninger (andreas.wanninger@univie.ac.at), CC to the Publishing Editor of the journal, Sarah Shokouhbeen (sarah.shokouhbeen@springernature.com). Please submit your proposal (Word format) via e-mail with the subject line “ODAE Special Issue Proposal”. This is a unique opportunity for early-stage researchers to bring together junior and senior colleagues to highlight their field of research. Designing and handling a journal SI is a great way for younger researchers to gain editorial experience.
Special Issue proposals are welcome at any time during the year.
A SI proposal should include the following information:
- Working title
- Research field, highlighting the topics covered
- Name and contact details of the intended Guest Editor in charge who will handle all submissions and who will be responsible for all the communications with the journal
- A tentative list of authors to be invited for contribution
- A proposed timeline for submissions (start and end dates)
