Journal of Mathematical Sciences - Call for Papers: Special Issue on “Fractional order systems and operator theory”

Special Issue on: “Fractional order systems and operator theory”

The subject of fractional calculus and its potential applications have gained a lot of importance, mainly because it has become a powerful tool with more accurate and successful results in modeling several complex phenomena in numerous seemingly diverse and widespread fields of science and engineering. It was found that various, especially interdisciplinary applications, can be elegantly modeled with the help of fractional derivatives. Since fractional differential equations combined with operator theory, still used perfectly in applied sciences via mathematical modelling, it is very important to focus on the most promising open problems and new directions that were formulated based on the modern techniques and approaches presented recently in the field trying to have interesting and original results in real world.

This special issue will consider strictly strong papers resulted from modern analysis and applied aspects of fractional dynamic systems and operator theory. We also strongly encourage young researchers/PhD students who were obtained new contributions well supervised and guided by experts to submit their eminent papers to this special issue. Note that submitted papers should be explicitly meeting with the Aims and scope (this opens in a new tab) of JMS journal.

Instructions for Submission

Authors are encouraged to submit an original paper not published or submitted elsewhere to a special issue of Journal of Mathematical Sciences. The submission website for this journal is located at: Submit your manuscript (this opens in a new tab). To ensure that your manuscripts are correctly identified for possible inclusion into the special issue we are editing, it is important that authors reply at “Additional Information” step to a dedicated question in the submission workflow by “Yes” as a response to the custom question “Are you submitting this manuscript to a Special Issue?”, then they will have to select at “Choose Article Type” Special Issue: Fractional order systems and operators theory.

The papers should be written in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling. Each paper should clearly indicate the nature of its scientific contribution. Manuscripts should be prepared using LaTeX and followed the JMS Submission guidelines (this opens in a new tab).  Submission of a manuscript will be understood to mean that the paper is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Papers that are not prepared according to the above instructions or badly written will be immediately rejected. All papers will be subject to a peer review process.

Important Dates

Date first submission expected: April 01, 2024
Final deadline for submission: July 31, 2024
Full publication: according to journal arrangements
