are pleased to invite you to submit your paper for consideration for publication in this special issue, collecting research papers on the recent advances in mathematical models and numerical methods in the Fintech domain. Applications include, but are not limited to, data science applications to Finance (such as machine learning, natural language processing, network analytics, etc.), cryptocurrencies, digital currencies, smart contracts, peer to peer finance, big data analysis, nowcasting, blockchain technology, behavioural finance. The special issue will feature papers presented at the Fintech Research Conference 2023 that will be held at Parthenope University of Naples on November 2-3, 2023. Furthermore, high-quality papers from outside the conference will also be considered.

The opening date for the special issue is November 1, 2023. Please do not submit for the special issue before that date! The closing date for submissions is April 30, 2024.
 

Manuscript submission and processing

Papers submitted must be original work and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the Instructions for Authors (this opens in a new tab).  

All manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online manuscript submission system at: https://www.editorialmanager.com/deaf/default2.aspx (this opens in a new tab). Authors: please select “S.I.: Fintech: A fusion of Finance, Technology and Methodologies” when you reach the “Additional Information” step in the submission process. 

While ensuring the high quality of the papers to be published, the journal will follow an expedited review process. First-round referee reports are expected to be completed by September 2024 and the complete special issue should appear in 2025. Upon acceptance, papers will be published online. All papers will be refereed according to the journal’s procedures and standards.
