Decisions in Economics and Finance - Call for Papers: Special Issue on "The Mathematics of Subjective Probability: Topics in Economics and Probability"

We are pleased to invite you to submit your paper for consideration in this special issue. We are soliciting original articles related to the interplay between economics and probability in any of its forms. Examples include, but are not limited to, subjective probability, the theory of choice under uncertainty, game theory and learning, stochastic optimization, mean field games, optimal transport. This special issue will feature papers presented at the MSP 2023 meeting, https://www.msp2023.campus.unimib.it (this opens in a new tab), but high-quality papers from outside the conference will also be considered.

The submission process starts on 1.10.2023 and closes on 29.02.2024. Please, do not submit beforehand.

Manuscript submission and processing

Papers submitted must be original work and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the Instructions for Authors:  https://www.springer.com/journal/10203/submission-guidelines  (this opens in a new tab)

All manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online manuscript submission system at: https://www.editorialmanager.com/deaf/default.aspx (this opens in a new tab). Authors: please select “S.I.: The Mathematics of Subjective Probability” when you reach the “Additional Information” step in the submission process. While ensuring the high quality of the papers to be published, the journal will follow an expedited review process. First-round referee reports are expected to be completed by March 2024 and the complete special issue should appear in 2024. Upon acceptance, papers will be published online. All papers will be refereed according to the journal’s procedures and standards.
