Neurological Sciences - Recruitment of Team Members for the Early Career Investigator Section in Neurological Sciences

The section editors are seeking individuals who can serve a three-year term as Team Members for the Early Career Investigator sections. 

Eligible candidates are adult and child neurology residents who have completed their first two years of residency, PhD students and young neurologists aged ≤ 40 years at the end of the three-year mandate.  

Responsibilities include writing articles, recruiting young authors to write articles, reviewing manuscripts, suggesting reviewers for manuscripts, disseminating articles via social media, and proposing new ideas for the development of the collection. 

Candidates from accredited neurological training programs or Neurological Societies worldwide can apply by sending the application material to the Section Editor by 30 June 2024. They will be notified by August and will start on 01 October 2024. 

Application Material 

  • Curriculum Vitae 
  • Short Personal Statement (max 500 words) including the motivations for applying, communication and interpersonal skills, interest in education and training, peer-reviewed publications in English, peer-review experience, innovative ideas for the development of the section. 
  • Letter(s) of support from the Training Program Director or the President of a Neurological Society, and from a mentor. 
  • Evidence of English language ability for non-English native speakers
