As Editorial Directors for Springer’s publishing programs in Economics, Business, Political Science, Law and Statistics, we are proud to present our global Business & Management list. 

We publish over 50 scholarly journals and over 400 books annually, comprising monographs, contributed volumes and major reference works for researchers; textbooks for instructors and students; and professional titles for consultants and senior managers. With dedicated editorial teams based in Heidelberg, New York, Milan, Sao Paulo, Delhi, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing and Melbourne, we support authors and institutions throughout the world. 

It would be an understatement to say that Business is constantly undergoing fast-paced evolution and change in the context of technological innovations, financial market cycles, geo-political dynamics and socio-cultural developments.  Our authors take the long view, analyzing, interpreting and forecasting trends across a wide spectrum of areas, from Operations Research to Entrepreneurship, Marketing to Business Ethics and Strategy to Supply Chain Management. And as an innovative player in the market, we are excited to pursue publications in such emerging areas as Sustainability, Workplace Diversity, Healthcare Management, Environmental and Natural Resource Management and Data Science.  These topics reflect the truly global nature of business today and its impact on all aspects of society. 

In 2017, we continued to showcase timely new contributions by internationally renowned scholars, consultants, business leaders and policymakers to our flagship book series and to chart new territory, with the recent launch of several new series.

Among our most highly recognized books this year was Entrepreneurial Renaissance, drawing parallels between the emergence and impact of today’s technological innovations and the cultural and commercial revolution of the Renaissance, and featuring contributions from local leaders of “creative communities”  around the world.

Our Springer Texts in Business and Economics series provides resources for graduate students and instructors, combining theory, methodology and practical business applications.

In 2017 we published new editions of popular titles such as Introduction to Electronic Commerce and Social Commerce, as well as new books on Market Research and Entrepreneurial Management

Our Management for Professional series showcases best practices to help managers achieve business excellence in key areas; 2017 highlights included: Evolving Business Models, Leading and Managing in the Social Sector, Cyber Security and Business Process Management Cases

We continue to chart new territory, with the recent launch of several new series:  Entrepreneurship and Development in South Asia; Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management and Advances in Theory and Practice of Emerging Markets

And in general interest, Made for China featured an unprecedented collection of one-on-one interviews with Chinese business leaders. 

In 2018, we look forward to publishing the Handbook of Personal and Organizational Transformation, edited by Judi Neal and featuring contributions from a multi-disciplinary community of researchers and practitioners in management, economics, philosophy, sociology, psychology and education.   New textbooks will include Knowledge Management and Principles of Management as well as a new edition of the best-selling Customer Relationship Management
