Klassische Executive Information Systems (EIS) sind oftmals statische und passive Systeme, die den Anforderungen eines prozessorientierten Controlling nicht genügen. Ausgehend von der Integration von EIS und groupware-basierten Workflow-Management-, Projekt-Management- und Knowledge-Management-Komponenten konzipiert und realisiert Philipp Haberstock das Prozessorientierte Team-Controllingsystem (ProTeCos). ProTeCos überwindet die Unzulänglichkeiten traditioneller EIS und bietet neue Möglichkeiten für Erfassung, Darstellung, Analyse und Austausch von Controllinginformationen. Als synergetischer und integrativer Anwendungsverbund baut ProTeCos auf den operativen Systemen auf und schafft Verbindungen zu Data Warehouse-, Data Mining- und OLAP-Technologien.

Dr. Philipp Haberstock promovierte bei Prof. Dr. Ludwig Nastansky im Fachbereich Wirtschaftsinformatik der Universität Paderborn. Er ist Unternehmensberater bei A. T. Kearney.
