Das Lebesgue-Integral ist ein essentielles Werkzeug für Analysis und Stochastik und damit für viele Bereiche, in denen Mathematik zum Einsatz kommt. Das vorliegende Lehrbuch ist eine kompakte, in Vorlesungen erprobte Einführung in die damit befasste Maß- und Integrationstheorie. Es werden die wichtigen Themen der Theorie angesprochen und auch weitere Resultate dargestellt, die Verbindungen zu anderen Gebieten der Mathematik herstellen. Die didaktische Anordnung des Stoffes ist so gewählt, dass das Lehrbuch in unterschiedlichen Varianten der Bachelor-Studiengänge einsetzbar ist.Für die zweite Auflage wurden einige Textstellen leicht überarbeitet und Fehler berichtigt.
