Larry M. Wolford, DMD, has enormous experience in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has been Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, Dallas, TX since 1987 and in 2013 was also appointed Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Wolford has received numerous awards and honors. He has served on many professional committees and is Immediate Past President of the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons (2017–2019). He has been a keynote speaker and delivered memorial lectures around the world. Dr. Wolford sits on the editorial boards of various journals and acts as an editorial consultant to many more. He is the co-author of several books, written more than 45 chapters for other books, and more than 225 articles in refereed journals.
