About the editors
Jesus Olivas-Menayo was born in Mérida (Spain). After finishing medical school, he pursued training in Plastic Surgery at the University Clinic of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain where he also wrote his PhD thesis and also served as Associate Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Human Anatomy. He subsequently complemented his training at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (London, UK), at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York, USA), and at the University of Chicago Medicine Hospitals (USA). He also completed a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Coupure Centrum voor Plastische Chirurgie in Ghent (Belgium). He is the author of several book chapters and papers and has received numerous awards and prestigious scholarships. Currently he is working at the University Hospital Fundación Jiménez Díaz, Madrid, Spain and in his private practice in that city.
