    With the advent of high performance LEDs and the emergence of OLEDs for lighting, there is rapid evolution of new lighting systems that are designed to deliver improved illumination as well as new lighting features and services based on the electronically controllable properties of Solid State Lighting (SSL). Journal of Solid State Lighting encompasses all aspects of Solid State Lighting technology.

    Manuscript templates for authors are available.

    The Journal of Solid State Lighting encourages the submission of papers in areas including but not limited to the following;

    LED Materials and Devices

    • LED materials, device design and fabrication
    • Optical and thermal management at the chip and package level
    • Emitter efficiency improvements
    • LED chip and package reliability

    OLED Materials and Devices

    • OLED materials, device design and fabrication
    • Emitter efficiency and lifetime improvements
