Das Buch behandelt die verschiedenen numerischen Feldsimulationsverfahren, nichtlineare Schaltungstechnik und deren S- und X-Parameter sowie modernste Leistungsverstärkertechniken. Weiterhin werden neuartig dargestellte Oszillatoren und das große neue Feld der GHz-Plasmatechnik beschrieben. Darüber hinaus deckt es mit den Themen Hohlleiter, Mischer, Phasenregelkreise, Antennen und Ausbreitungseffekte in Kombination mit dem Bachelor-Buch „Hochfrequenztechnik“ alle Aspekte ab, die den aktuellen Stand der GHz-Technik betreffen.
