How to Submit Abstracts

1) Complete PDF Pages

Structuring the pages by the organizer/editorial office
No proof-reading
Fast publishing
Author:
  • Prepare abstract according to "Layout 1" and "Sample 1" and possibly using "Template 1"
  • Prepare in Word
Organizer/Editorial Office:
  • Prepare the pages including abstract numbering and subheadings (topics) according to "Guidelines for Editors 1", "Sample 2" and "Sample 3" and possibly using "Compiling Template"
  • Download "job options" for Acrobat Distiller.
  • Extract SpringerPrint.joboptions from the zip file and save to your Distiller/Settings
  • Convert complete pages to PDF with Acrobat Distiller by using SpringerPrint job option
  • Deliver PDF pages
  • Prepare title page, table of contents, author index etc according to "Guidelines for Editors 1" and "Sample 4"

2) Individual PDF files per abstract 

Author:
  • Prepare abstract according to "Layout 1" and "Sample 1" and possibly using "Template 1"
  • Prepare in Word
  • Download "job options" for Acrobat Distiller.
  • Extract SpringerPrint.joboptions from the zip file and save to your Distiller/Settings
  • Deliver PDF abstract

3) Camera-ready abstracts

  • Prepare abstract according to "Layout 2" and "Sample 1" and possibly using "Template 1"
Organizer/Editorial Office:
  • Further processing according to "Guidelines for Editors 3" and "Sample 4"
