The internationally refereed papers in this book present the state-of-the-art in computer-aided architectural design research. All the papers are from the Proceedings of the 12th International Conference of CAADFutures, which took place in Sydney, Australia.
These papers reflect the conference theme, Integrating Technologies for Computer-Aided Design. Collectively, they provide the technological foundation for new ways of thinking about using computers to design. In addition, they address the education of designers themselves. You’ll learn a variety of best practices for teaching and learning computing in architectural design.
CAADFutures is a biennial conference that promotes the advancement of computer-aided architectural design research and teaching. The conferences are organized under the auspices of the CAADFutures Foundation. Started in 1985 in Delft, The Netherlands, the conference series has since traveled to major cities in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
