Ten new quarterly clinical review journals will be added to Springer’s existing portfolio of medicine titles, starting this month. The journals will focus on a number of areas including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, genetic medicine, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, pathobiology, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology and surgery. Editorial responsibilities will be handled out of Springer’s Philadelphia office, and the addition of these journals will further expand Springer’s specialty medical coverage.
Each journal will have an editorial review board to ensure that the science and topics are current in order to help physicians stay abreast of the latest developments in each area. The thematic structure of each journal will be determined by editors-in-chief, who will collaborate with international authorities as section editors, and expert authors as contributors.
